We are an established in-home ABA therapy company serving children 18 months- 21 years. In September 2024 we are opening a clinic geared towards Early Intervention for children 18 months - 7 years old. We are looking for a talented team of Behavior Technicians to help us grow This is a full-time position M-F 8:00am-4:30pm beginning September 16th. 

 

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide behavioral therapy services to individuals, focusing on patient care and promoting behavioral health. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals, particularly children with autism ages 18 months-7 years, assisting in implementing behavior intervention plans and documenting progress. Your role will involve maintaining medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and collaborating with a team of professionals to support the well-being of clients.

Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals based on their specific needs
- Document client progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist in teaching new skills and behaviors to individuals
- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
- Monitor and report any changes or concerns in client behavior to the supervising BCBA
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Skills:
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Experience working with individuals in behavioral health or special education settings
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Ability to work effectively with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients, caregivers, and colleagues

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes
- Ability to adapt interventions based on individual needs
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of people, including those with challenging behaviors
