enGenius Consulting Group Inc is Seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong understanding of AWS services. You will be responsible for modernizing an existing application by designing, developing, and deploying applications using AWS tools and services. This will be a Remote role, and candidates MUST have an active SECRET Clearance.

The Software Developer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Analyze legacy data and processes to recommend a development plan for a new application using AWS tools and services.
  2. Analyze user and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time constraints.
  3. Apply coding and testing best practices.
  4. Apply secure code documentation.
  5. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and other stakeholders to address application performance requirements.
  6. Develop secure code and error handling.
  7. Evaluate factors such as required reporting formats required and ability to share data/processes.
  8. Incorporate security into the design and implementation (i.e. DevSecOps concepts).
    Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills:

  1. Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g.,Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Lambda).
  2. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
  3. AWS Certified Developer.
  4. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g.,Git).
  5. Familiar with MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle databases
    CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, HTML, and APIs

Desired Skills:

  1. Certified Scrum Master.
  2. Experience developing in an AWS cloud environment.
  3. Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
