Job Responsibilities: 

As a School Speech-Language Pathologist in West Lawn, Pennsylvania, you will join a collaborative team working to address the communication skills of K-12 students. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Conducting thorough evaluations to assess speech and language disorders that impact academic achievement. 

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address each student's specific needs. 

  • Delivering direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students. 

  • Working in close partnership with classroom teachers and interdisciplinary teams to support students' speech and language development. 

  • Continuously monitoring student progress through observations and data collection, allowing for necessary adjustments to treatment plans. 

  • Maintaining transparent and regular communication with caregivers, offering updates and strategies to foster continued growth at home.  

Qualifications: 

Applicants should possess: 

  • Experience working with K-12th grade children, ideally in a school-based or pediatric setting. 

  • A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. 

  • A valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists. 

  • A valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
