What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of production operators in the injection molding department to ensure that volume, cost, waste and quality standards are achieved
  • Ensure all injection molding machines are staffed, material is supplied, and that all activities have been performed to maximize uptime
  • Verify accuracy on all production work orders directed and assist in trouble shooting discrepancies
  • Complete production reporting in IQMS for all production areas as assigned
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility in meeting deadlines
  • Be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and assist in physical inventory as needed
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop implementation plans
  • Other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical/mechanical background in Plastics Industry preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability
  • Must be able to read English, count accurately, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, compute ratio, percentage and write legibly
  • Requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers and training classes
  • Have experience with the ability to operate injection molding machines, CNC machines, and Vac form machines
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment
  • Ability to cover all job functions at any time in the building
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagrammatic or schedule form
  • The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.

Shift availability:
2nd: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
