About The Role


As a more senior member of the Applications team, you will play a pivotal role in developing customer and operational UX via mobile apps, web interface, and cloud server. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders in developing WiFi sensing applications. We are looking for a creative and collaborative person with strong technical problem-solving skills and application-development experience. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional product team. You will have a huge impact on Origin’s fast-growing suite of WiFi sensing offerings.



  • Influential in defining technical standards, best practices, and coding conventions for the team, understand and execute. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable, and high-performance server-side and mobile applications.
  • Architect and implement robust APIs, databases, and server-side components to support mobile app functionality.
  • Anticipate and communicate blockers, delays, and cost ballooning for all dependencies, before they require escalation. 
  • Ensure adherence to architectural principles, security standards, and scalability requirements.
  • Participate in development, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes across server and mobile app platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers and product team to evaluate and create new product features, plan and prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage project timelines. 
  • Track progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure the successful delivery of products.
  • Ensure expectations across team and external stakeholders are clarified between all parties involved. 


About You:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development in both server-side development and mobile app development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or similar.
  • Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with server-side frameworks (e.g., Node.js) and mobile app frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
