Job Summary: We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who will be responsible for traveling to various sites in the Chicago area to deliver, set up, and pick up medical diagnostic equipment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills as you need to explain instructions to patients and nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Report to office each day to receive route, equipment, and instructions
- Travel to sites to deliver, set-up, or pick up equipment
- Explain how to properly use the equipment to nursing staff and patients
- Ensure all necessary documentation is filled out properly
- Help coordinate between facilities and our office what the patient's status is and any problems that arise
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with patient contact
- Ability to interact well with nursing home residents, nurses, and administrative staff
