Full Job Description:
Join our wonderful clinical team and be part of metro Denver’s fastest growing primary care medical clinics 

MedNOW Clinics is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in the field of family medicine and urgent care to work closely with our physician providers in a collaborative care model.  The schedule for this position will include Saturday hours from 8-3 and week days depending on availability and other clinic provider schedules.  

Our providers typically see 18-20 patients during a full workday. Patients are mostly adult family medicine patients with concerns such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, depression, anxiety and other health concerns. MedNOW Clinics is committed to helping patients through an integrated and multidisciplinary approach. We provide personalized treatment plans through a variety of services, including behavioral health, physical therapy, and interventional pain management. Our clinics use Athena as its EMR. 

We seek clinical team members who are passionate about serving the community to make a positive patient impact, focused on providing exceptional patient experiences and improved health outcomes, committed to clinical excellence, and contribute to the development and growth of MedNOW Clinics. 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Delivery of compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based chronic pain management to all patients, regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity.
  • Utilize the multimodal approach offered by our clinic, including rationale medication management, referral for mental health care, physical therapy, and interventions as indicated.
  • Perform appropriate and timely work-up of patient symptoms to identify pain generators and formulate treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation regarding all patient interactions, and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks with referring providers, and participating in professional societies.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
  • Must be a board-certified Mid-level Provider.
  • Must have a Colorado medical license and DEA.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have experience with family practice or internal medicine.
  • Knowledge of routine care and chronic conditions. 
  • Collaborative team player and excited to work within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Must have the safety and well-being of each and every patient as the highest priority.
