Job DescriptionJob Description

A growing family-owned dealership is looking to hire a progressive technology-savvy Used Car Sales Manager to their team. Candidates must have prior Used Car Management experience. This position demands a high-energy professional who has experience creating a positive sales environment and maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Be proficient with inventory management
  • Be a leader & provide focus for your Sales team
  • Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
  • Build rapport with customers to establish customer network
  • Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals
  • Help manage productivity of sales department
  • Build a strong sales team through effective hiring, motivation, and ongoing sales training for continued team growth
  • Adhere to high ethical standards, while maintaining gross profit and customer service index (CSI)
  • Achieve monthly forecasted income and penetration levels
  • Work with the service department to keep all pre-owned inventory marketable
  • Follow up on sales leads by effectively working with sales consultants and assisting the sales team in closing deals

Qualifications:

  • Current or prior used vehicle management experience required
  • Proven track record of achieving goals
  • Strong attention to details and the ability to work in a process-driven environment
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Technology Savvy is a must
  • Ability to manage and lead people
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
