Job Title: Triumph Program Social Worker

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Carries a clinical caseload, conducts family therapeutic meetings utilizing biological, psychological, and systemic perspectives in understanding patients and their families to develop treatment plans and interventions from those perspectives appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Works cohesively with other team members and is a contributor to the team; actively communicating with the Director of Social Work and other Social Workers, as needed.
  • Ensures care provided is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
  • Holds themself accountable to helping the patient and family achieve desired results, understanding and identifying professional strengths, limitations, and challenges.
  • Actively participates in clinical rounds, team consultation, & social work staff meetings/trainings.
  • Attends and actively participates in the Triumph team group psychotherapy supervision and individual supervision.
  • Reads weekly journal articles for the Triumph team weekly journal group.
  • Facilitates discharge planning and implementation.
  • Conducts group therapy sessions with techniques appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

  • Ability to work with high acuity and/or high-risk patients.

Education and Experience:

Education

  • Master’s in Social Work or Professional Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy

Experience

  • The qualifications and requirements are as follows:
  • LCSW/LPC required or LCSW/LPC test eligible within 6 months of application
  • Experience working with psychiatric patients required
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills, and be able to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has some experience or knowledge of trauma and/or dissociative symptoms/disorders.
