Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a ServiceNow ITSM Developer to join their team for the implementation of IT Service Management (ITSM). The role involves expanding from the already implemented ServiceNow CSM module to include ITSM for managing IT services. This includes setting up and configuring ServiceNow ITSM, and migrating elements such as user access, templates, workflows, and the service catalog from an existing ITSM system. The outcome of this solicitation will lead to awarding a work order to the most suitable proposer, which will require one or more hybrid resources.

Required Skills:

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuring ServiceNow ITSM, including participation in at least one full-cycle implementation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript
  • Familiarity with UI, SQL, HTML, and CSS
  • Understanding of XML and structural programming concepts
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Experience in developing reports within ServiceNow
  • Expertise in ServiceNow Playbook development
  • Experience in data exchange between ServiceNow and other systems via API (REST and SOAP)
  • Familiarity with Remedy ITSM, Microsoft PowerBI, ServiceNow CSM, and preferably ServiceNow NowAssist

Scope of Services:

  • Develop a comprehensive technical implementation and migration plan for ServiceNow ITSM
  • Install, configure, and customize the ServiceNow ITSM platform, including business rules, UI policies, workflows, and tables, to meet specified requirements
  • Migrate existing configurations, user access, service requests, incidents, work orders, and change requests to ServiceNow ITSM
  • Configure integrations between ServiceNow and other systems to ensure smooth communication and data exchange through APIs and data loads
  • Generate ITSM reports in both ServiceNow and Microsoft PowerBI
  • Review and assist with troubleshooting the current ServiceNow CSM setup
  • Analyze system performance and optimize tuning parameters or code for improved performance
  • Conduct unit tests, user acceptance tests, and stress test scenarios with technical staff
  • Implement ongoing enhancement requests
