The Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety Services Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager, Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety (FE&LS) and Suppression Services and is primarily responsible for management of day-to-day functions within the Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety Services group of Total Fire Protection, with a specific focus and concentration on coordinating functions and duties, as detailed below, in support of the Company’s Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety Services department.

Below are specific responsibilities per corresponding function, that this position is directly responsible for:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety Service Manager will be responsible for coordinating and following-up on all issued service proposals to ensure expedient and efficient Customer acceptance of said Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety Service proposals. This is further described below:

  • Lead the effort in the creation and subsequent timely issuance of Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety Services proposals on behalf of the Company to Customers, in accordance with corresponding requested or solicited service
  • Follow-up on all issued service proposals to help solicit Customer approval
  • Administers an effective proposal log to ensure all issued proposals are properly tracked and monitored, with a specific status on each proposal
  • Coordinates the conversion of all issued Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety Services proposals in Salesforce for accurate statistical reporting
  • After Customer approval of proposals, coordinate the necessary field work, including but not limited to the scheduling, confirmation, and verification of work completion, consistent with the corresponding proposal(s), per Customer and Company expectations
  • Conduct as required, coordinate and confirm all relevant field surveys are conducted in accordance with relevant standards and requirements
  • Establish, foster, and sustain Customer relationships in ensuring all services are executed and delivered to our customers, consistent with expectations of said Customer and the Company
  • Ensure proper and first-class Customer service is consistently provided to our customers and manage the process in ensuring said service is provided to the Company’s expectations
  • Uphold all relevant policies and procedures consistent with representing the Company throughout the industry, with a specific focus on ensuring the Company brand/image is consistently represented in a first-class manner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Management:

As an essential responsibility of the Fire Sprinkler Services Manager, they will manage the Administration Coordinator – Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety Services and ensure all their relevant duties, as outlined in the corresponding job description, are properly executed, consistent with Company expectations. In addition, the Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety Services Manager will be responsible for:

  • General office Administrative Management in the department
  • Other responsibilities and tasks, as assigned by the Operations Manager, Fire Extinguisher & Life Safety (FE&LS) and Suppression Services and/or Owner / President, or COO, as required
  • Possess efficient organizational abilities and be detail oriented
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office application
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent editing, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of related work experience and Bachelor’s degree preferable
  • The ability to detect individual customer needs and clearly present key benefits of doing business with Total Fire Protection
  • Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, virtual and dynamic environment
  • Strong conceptual thinking abilities
  • Ability to function independently in a team environment with little supervision
  • Can work in a collaborative environment while also working independently
  • Must be detail oriented, conscientious and have a strong work ethic
  • Self-motivation, strong work ethic and career-oriented
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office application (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Excellent editing, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
