We are seeking an experienced pressure washer to quickly grow into one of our Lead Technician roles (Lead Techs are paid a guaranteed salary with a bonus based on revenue serviced.)

Compensation

  • Overtime pay at time and a half (optional, when available). The ability to grow into a salary role with bonus options averaging $49K - $59K/ annually. Holiday and PTO on top of that.
  • 401K with up to 4% matching available 
  • Health insurance (High quality BCBS insurance)
  • Supplemental insurance, with some options paid directly by SOR (For example, a dental policy for an individual is fully covered at no cost to the employee)
    • Waiting period: First of the month after 60th day of employment for insurance


HINT: If considering another job, ask that potential employer and SOR these questions:

1. How many paid holidays do I get? (SOR = 8 to 11 per year depending on shift/ day of the week where the holidays fall that year)

2. How much paid time off (PTO) do I get on top of holidays? (SOR = 2 weeks, plus 2 more days if you volunteer in the community)

- A valid NC Driver's License/ reliable legal transportation to our Charlotte warehouse by 7:30 AM weekdays

- Related construction experience is a plus. Please notify us if you have experience in minor deck repairs, board replacements, and/or deck staining

- A positive attitude and willingness to work with a team. Great communication with co-workers and supervisors.

Essential duties:

  • Showing up is crucial for our team - we rely on one another. Therefore, we require all team members MUST HAVE ADEQUATE TRANSPORTATION to the SOR warehouse/ job site location.
  • Driver's license highly preferred for this posting (some of the leadership roles require driving, so drivers have more paths available)
  • Ability to be cleared to be added to our insurance (i.e. at least 3 years' experience as a licensed driver, a good driving record).


Physical Requirements:

Physical weight, size, and shape requirements exist for this role only as necessary to ensure a secure and safe fit for PPE. These include, but are not limited to, a body weight limit of 270 lbs. to utilize fall protection harnesses and to meet ladder and equipment weight upper limits, minimum size to allow proper fastening of the smallest size fall protection harness, ability to fit securely in standard or alternate mass-produced safety helmets or other equipment.Physical Requirements:

  • Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete manual labor tasks in the warehouse and on job sites.
  • Must be able to lift and pull 75-pound loads (two 5-gallon buckets of stain, pull 100 feet of hose, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift pressure washing wands and hold above head for at least 6 hours per shift.
  • Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to see, read, understand, and follow English language safety instructions and training, including OSHA and chemical SDS information
  • Must be able to walk, stand, squat, climb, and execute safety protocols
