Job description

The Dishwasher is responsible for providing the restaurant with clean and sanitized utensils, plateware, glassware and equipment, as well as:

Ensures dishes are sanitized and available as needed.

Sets up dish machine at the start of shift and closes down machine in the PM according to company procedures.

Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine.

Washes plateware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.

Removal of trash and waste from the restaurant.

Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience working in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred.

General knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking practices.

Basic knife handling skills.

Experience working in a fast paced working environment.

Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs throughout entire shift and place these items on high and low shelves in storerooms, walk-ins, and freezers numerous times throughout the shift.

A great entry level position for a candidate looking to start a career in the hospitality industry within an established, award winning restaurant.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
