Job Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join our team at the Shanna and Bryan Glazer JCC Event Center.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing and storing dishes, utensils, and equipment. They will also assist with food preparation and presentation, and ensure that the kitchen is clean and sanitized at the end of each shift.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be physically able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain dishwasher chemical levels and oversee any issues pertaining to the dishwasher
  • Clean all dishware and store them in the proper location
  • Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and presentation
  • Take out all trash at the conclusion of shift and dispose in recycle dumpster
  • Mop all floors and sanitize all kitchen surfaces at conclusion of shift

Requirements:

  • Ability to interact and develop rapport with kitchen staff
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
