ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of ground equipment (fuel trucks, tugs,golf carts,GPUs, vehicles, lawn equipment, floor machine, forklift, scissor lift, shop equipment, etc.) in a safe and timely manner.

Responsible for the overall maintenance of the Banyan fuel farms ensuring the farms are within license and in safe operating conditions at all times.

Assist in the upkeep and repair of Banyan offices, departmental furniture and fixtures, and hangars.

Responsible for the upkeep and repair of Banyan's tenants' offices and hangars as instructed.

Assist with projects that may require late night or weekend schedules; e.g., painting floors, building offices, and installing office furniture.

Responsible for constant communication with departmental managers to be sure equipment is in good working order and equipment in need of service is clearly placarded.

Responsible to be on call at certain times to assist all departments in doing their job to serve the customer.

Recommend the purchase of parts and tools necessary to ensure the upkeep of the equipment, offices, hangars, landscaping, etc.

Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

Conform with all safety rules and wear/use all appropriate safety equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in the mechanic field. A thorough knowledge of the care, operation and mechanics of ground equipment, specifically golf carts, Banyan vehicles, etc..Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
