What will I be doing in this role?

You will be in charge of conducting in-home consultative-style sales appointments with company-generated and self-generated residential homeowner leads. these leads represent homeowners who are not content with what they are currently spending in power bills, and have likely not met with a Solar company that they trust enough to guide them through the process of transitioning into clean energy. Because of the changing landscape of Solar in California, the type of Representative who is successful in this role is one who has shifted to become an expert in not just solar, but in whole home efficiency and battery backup as well. The gap in homeowner exposure will necessitate you being an expert marketer as well as salesperson, and will require someone who is willing to go above and beyond to bring that exposure to even cold contacts at their doorstep.

We are solar and battery experts. Very few companies or individuals can claim the same. Our advantage in the home is the fact that we understand the product in a way that restores the benefits of Solar energy in the way that homeowners once enjoyed them. We will share our knowledge of solar, battery back-up, and grid arbitrage with you to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in your goal of serving homeowners. You will also receive an aggressive, industry-leading compensation package commensurate with experience, credentials, and and interview outcome.


Who is the ideal candidate for this role?

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Carry out door-to-door engagements and create sales consultations

  • Attend and close sales consultations with homeowners and educate them on the benefits of solar & back-up batteries

  • Attend and participate in regular team training meetings

  • Create a customer service and follow-up process that wow's the client

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly performance targets


What are the requirements for this role?

  • Must have active State HIS (Home Improvement Sales) License (if not licensed, application will be deferred to "Appointment Setter" candidate pool)

  • 1 year Previous HIS Sales Experience REQUIRED

  • Flexible Full-time Availability (choose your own hours up to 40 hours weekly)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (bilingual is a plus)

  • Must complete applicable Sales and Technician Training.

  • Be consistent while working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
