We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a full-time and part-time Maintenance Technicians. This position will provide preventative maintenance and on-call repairs for all rolling equipment such as shopping cars within the retail, wholesale and grocery industries. The Maintenance Technician is critical in delivering the Company’s high-quality customer service. This person is responsible for preventative maintenance, repair requests and diagnosing problems with rolling equipment. This person will also oversee the work site and deliver on customer satisfaction and productivity objectives. We are searching for a team-player who will be energetic and innovative in this position. Our company is a leader within the industry and provides preventative maintenance and on-call repair programs for all rolling equipment within the retail, wholesale and grocery industries. Our growth has been phenomenal due to the hard work and dedication of our staff. Due to our growth our management team is also excellent at training and mentoring staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Strong leadership skills, outgoing personality and a go-getter
  • Supervise technician(s) on-site and monitor for efficient maintenance work schedule
  • Manage all on-site installations, repairs, maintenance and tests tasks
  • Be the primary customer interface while on-site, exhibiting courtesy, professionalism and ensuring customer issues are addressed
  • Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Utilize mobile technology applications to complete service tickets, monitor timekeeping, submit reports, and manage expenses
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Maintain an organized warehouse, take physical inventory and keep accurate inventory counts
  • Keep vehicle, tools, equipment organized and properly maintained
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
  • Must be able to lift at least 50-70 lbs.
  • Must have welding experience
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Must practice personal and environmental safety on the job using protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, reliable and honest
  • Must have time management skills
  • Must be available to night shifts and adapt to work schedules
  • Must be a team-player who interacts well with the team
  • Must pass a criminal background and DMV record check
