Summary/Objective

The Programmer / Applications Developer works to develop and display applications or interfaces CAD, PLM, ERM systems. Able to work on both front end and back end of web development. Collaborates with engineering and team members concerning technology and application needs in various stages of the implementation of logic-based systems. Identifies all aspects of the assigned problem and evaluates user requirements in terms of the capabilities of the available hardware and software. Develops proper documentation outlining the logical steps to create and validate product platforms.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assisting in design and development of CPQ system based on requirements set by Senior Jtec team and coordinated by the development team
• Ability to write reports and coordinate progress and challenges daily, or as needed.
• Will need to be able to solve problems on a high level.
• Will also need the ability to work through issues in a solo and team environment.
• Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, C#, Java, SQL).
• Knowledge of API/REST services.
• Will be responsible for writing code to interact between CREO and Epicor.
• Proficiency with CREO or similar CAD software for designing and interfacing with CPQ systems.
• Experience with API and REST services for integration and communication between different systems.
• Work with Bill of Materials (BOM) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) for accurate product configuration and management.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform complex calculations related to product pricing, configurations, and quoting in a CPQ system.
• Completes other job or duties as directed by Director of Autonomous Products or other members of management

Qualifications

• Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CREO and/or Windchill experience, preferred
• Technology
  • Windows PC proficiency
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency preferred in one or more industry standard PLC platforms, and ladder logic
  • Understanding of programming languages (e.g. C++, C#, Java, etc.) and Front-end languages (e.g. HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, etc.)
  • Network Communications Technology - a solid understanding of internet, intranet, VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc.
  • PTC Windchill PDM Link, preferred
  • PTC Creo 3.0 or later, preferred

• Must be able to work in safety sensitive role, fit for duty and free of any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol, including prescribed or over the counter drugs or other substances which may alter job performance during working times (e.g., drowsiness, impaired reflexes or reaction time, lack of concentration, etc.
