POSITION SUMMARY

St. John's College High School is seeking candidates for a teaching position to begin in the Science Department for the 2024-25 school year. The Science department at St. John's offers a range of course, and teachers focus their instruction and learning goals on the student-centered classroom where creativity, problem solving skills, and collaboration are prioritizes. This is a full-time appointment. This position may be focused in Biology, Chemistry or Physics depending on the skills of the candidate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
  • Bachelor's degree in science or a related field
  • Classroom teaching experience preferred
  • Willingness to embrace a Lasallian, Catholic, educational community
  • Desire to belong to a faculty that embraces inclusivity, collegiality, innovative instructional practice, collaboration, a process-driven mindset, and meeting students intellectually where they are
