Nurse Practitioner
Shift: Day
Status: Full Time or Part Time Available
Department: Nursing Services
Role Responsibilities:
- Work closely with physicians and assesses, diagnoses, and treats residents with various health conditions.
- Conducts exams, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, prescribes medications, and develops treatment plans
- Gathers health history of resident, prioritizes health issues, and intervenes appropriately.
- Manages resident care with a range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Performs routine medical procedures.
- Dictates and maintains accurate records.
- Supports the nursing team in dealing with clinical emergencies.
Qualifications:
- A graduate of a state-approved school of nursing,
- Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Excellent communication and able to work well with others.
- Interested in the care of geriatric residents.
