Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, collect clinical data, and diagnose medical conditions.
- Treatment and Intervention: Develop and implement treatment plans, order diagnostic tests, and administer medications or treatments.
- Education and Mentorship: Serve as a resource and team leader, providing guidance and support to new staff and physician assistant students.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with attending physicians, primary nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's degree program.
- Certifications: Board Certified, NYS licensure, and DEA registration.
