JOB SUMMARY:

Logistics Specialist - International
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with daily/ frequent deadlines, possess excellent Customer Service and computer skills. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask and handle large volume are critical and must be adhered to in the daily tasks.  Job duties include order processing of manual orders, order expediting, documentation creation, tracking inquiries and minimal filing.  Communicate with our Customers, Warehouse, Brokers, Vendors and Sales & Operations Team as well as any other Prestige business area by email/phone.  Also, other misc. projects will be assigned by Manager as they come up.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES/ACTIVIES:
  • Order to Invoice – process orders using ERP system and all processes between to invoicing.
  • Process US orders using SAP via EDI & Manual Entry of email orders. 
  • Order Expediting/Tracking.
  • Handle email inquiries from Customers (retailers) inquiring about shortages, overages, late shipments etc., as well as directing calls to other depts. 
  • Work closely with the Warehouse on cuts made after the Exception Report has been processed.
  • Document management/electronic filing.
  • Customer communication via email, answering their questions or directing their emails to the appropriate people/departments.
  • Work closely with the sales team regarding questions on orders and items.
  • Work closely with our Operations Team/Planners to help process problematic items due to out of stocks, discontinued etc.
  • Ensure daily that all process and procedures are met.
  • Various miscellaneous duties assigned by Manager and others on the Sales Team.

QUALIFICATIONS:          
  • 4-year college degree/ bachelor’s degree.
  • Min 5 years of Customer Service and/or logistics experience in the area of International.
  • Knowledge of export shipping, documentation, and country requirements.
  • Must have current, working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Word and Excel a must - creating pivot tables/spreadsheets and utilizing VLOOKUP are required in the daily processes.
  • Must have the capability to prioritize and plan to effectively meet the daily deadlines in the Department, while multi-tasking with other tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Must have the capability to work in a team environment with varied departments and diverse personalities.
  • Must be organized to handle high volume with great follow-up/ follow-through.
  • Must be detailed oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
