Principal Cloud Network Architect and Design Engineer


Responsibilities:

The Contractor shall provide network architecture and design services while ensuring secure, reliable, and low latency networking. The Primary focus for this individual will be to support the following areas:

  • Cloud Architecture and Design
  • Identity Management Architecture and Design
  • DNS and LDAP Architecture and Design
  • Active Directory Architecture and Design


Requirements: (As defined in the CATTS LCAT definitions within the IGCE).
Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff. Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines in accordance with the strategy and goals of the organization. Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy. Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development. Sets standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.). Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management. Tracks current plans. Monitors and reviews the success of systems and ensures efficiency and effectiveness.

Education: Minimum BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent certification, or years of experience)

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience

Work remote temporarily due to COVID-19.
