Position Overview

This position will be responsible for supervising the accounts receivable, authorization, physical therapy billing, and customer service teams. This person will also work closely with management to focus on the key initiatives of improving efficiencies and productivity.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee daily functions of Customer Service, Authorization, PT Billing, and AR teams
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the team leads and staff
  • Report weekly production metrics and action plans for each team to management
  • Mentor and develop team Leads
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance
  • Schedule and conduct staff meetings
  • Assist in establishing and updating policies and procedures
  • Provide education and training for staff
  • Respond to patient inquires and complaints in a timely manner
  • Work closely with management to improve inefficiencies where needed
  • Helping with My Rounding
  • Responsible for hiring and disciplinary functions for Customer Service, Authorization, PT Billing, and AR teams


Requirements:

Knowledge/Skills Abilities Required

High School Diploma

Minimum 5 years experience in Medical Billing

2-5 years in a Lead/Supervisor position

NextGen Practice Management System Experience

Excellent Customer Service skills

Exceptional Communication skills

Ability to organize and prioritize
