D4C Dental Brands is Seeking a Revenue Cycle QA Analyst

Job Summary:The analyst will handle all aspects of Posting & Payer analysis in the Revenue Cycle process for a large dental group. Candidates should be analytical, well organized and able to work under pressure in a strong team environment.  This support is crucial to the delivery of the company’s mission of helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral health.

 Education/Credentials:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Health Administration, or related field preferred
 
Job Related Experience:
  • 1 – 2 years of experience working in dental/healthcare experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • 1-2 years of experience working in dental billing/collections environment

Job Related Skills/Competencies:
  • Ability to interpret payer contracts and explanation of benefits (EOB)
  • Knowledge of government, third party payers, billing requirements and reimbursement methods
  • Knowledge of dental terminology preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expert with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring accuracy
  • Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions through detailed analysis
  • Willingness and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Want to understand the business
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and to improve and streamline processes for greater efficiency and cost savings
  • Ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: 
  • Office environment
  • Local travel on an “as needed” basis

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The QA Analyst will be responsible for a portion, if not all, of the functions below. In addition, the QA Analyst is expected to complete and/or assist other team members with the tasks below:
  • Understand and monitor fee schedules and payer contracts, ensuring accuracy in the practice management software
  • Identify patterns and trends that indicate a potential issue and report them to Leadership
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a database of fee schedules from all payers across the organization
  • Perform analysis on fee schedules to optimize and understand rates and payer mix
  • Conduct analysis and share findings with team on a frequent basis
  • Maintain appropriate documents, reports and files in order to comply with all applicable laws and policies
  • Maintain professional and consistent communication with the team and internal customers to ensure that all needed items are received in a timely manner
  • Answer and resolve internal calls, emails and inquires that cannot be resolved by other departments or field staff
  • Participate in team meetings to share status, trends or other appropriate feedback as it relates to Revenue Cycle
  • Adhere to all compliance guidelines and regulations as established by D4C Dental Brands, Inc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
