What You Will Do:
- Customer Facing Revenue Cycle: Reconcile customer accounts, including invoice processing, distribution, and statement delivery.
- Accounts Payable: Facilitate vendor payments, ensure obligations are credited, identify discounts and stop-payment orders, reconcile monthly statements and transactions, calculate and report sales tax on paid invoices, and reconcile credit card expenses and asset accounts.
- General Ledger: Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books. Assist with annual audit requirements.
- Cash Management: Monitor bank accounts daily, verify deposits, address bank inquiries, manage and record petty cash, assist with cash management reporting, and reconcile in the ERP system.
- Cross Functional Payroll Support: Process payroll, reconcile sub-ledger to the general ledger, review and approve payroll taxes and reporting, prepare payroll statements, and ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
What You Should Have:
- 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field.
- Two years of accounting or finance experience.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, advanced level in Excel applications and accounting software (e.g. SAP or other ERP system)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, including debits and credits.
- Highly organized with the ability to track changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analysis, return on investment (ROI), competition, new trends, and markets.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
