1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7a - 330p, OT and Weekends as needed

Pay Starting at $25+/hr. Depending on Experience

Onsite at Ivyland, Pennsylvania

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Toolroom Machinist who has the ability to work from a part drawing to produce a quality, finished product utilizing a veriety of manual machine tools.

Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate all conventional (Bridgeport, engine lathe, drill press, etc.) machine shop equipment

• Produce fixturing to aid in the production of machined parts

• Methodize component parts efficiently and logically

• Perform routine quality checks utilizing a variety of inspection tools and gages

• Adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment when needed

• Maintain cleanliness (5S) of the work area daily

• Complete daily JDE operation transactions

• Maintain satisfactory Productivity and Quality performance metrics

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Technical School Certificate/Diploma or Skilled Trades Apprenticeship preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years in manual machining.

• Ability to problem solve and perform varied tasks.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

• Fully site based

• Manual Machining experience, minimum 5 years

• Blueprint reading

• Measuring and guaging instruments

• Heat treating

• Weld testing

• Drawing interpretation
