Thanks for taking a look at joining our practice We are looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is looking to join a growing practice. We are looking for a provider who is willing to work with us as we expand to offer medication management to our clients as a new service in addition to outpatient therapy. We aim to find a middle ground with all our providers where they have the flexibility to engage and provide medication management with the support of an administrative team who works to manage all billing and varying levels of support with scheduling.


PMHNP is expected to schedule at least 30 billable hours within a 4 day work week. We offer supplemental insurance options for providers such as Life insurance, Short term disability insurance, Hospital Indemnity insurance, Critical illness, Accident insurance, and many other supplemental insurances to our contractors. 


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must have an Active RN license in the state of Virginia,
  • Must have PMHNP Certification
  • DEA Certification
  • Must possess basic computer skills


Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Autonomous Practice in the state of Virginia
  • Access to Collaborating Physician


Job Summary:

Providing medication management in person at our office locations or through the telehealth system on a dedicated schedule. PMHNP is responsible for monitoring and maintaining their caseloads including session documentation, follow up scheduling/calls, and consistently checking their office phone number and email each business day. 


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide medication management as part of a dedicated schedule you set, 30 billable client hours required each week.
  • Schedule follow up appointments with each client
  • Complete clinical documentation and other  documentation as needed within 24 hours of each appointment
  • Work with administrative staff to complete prior authorizations when needed
  • Coordination with any other providers as needed for care of client
  • Manage caseload to ensure only active or scheduled clients remain on caseload and maintaining needed billable hours
  • Maintain Active License
  • Maintain Active Malpractice Insurance
  • Maintain Collaboration with Physician  (for PMHNP's without autonomous practice)

  • Billing and collecting payments for session
  • Personalized access to your own office phone number & email
  • Marketing through out social media, website, and other directories
  • Scheduling support


Compensation:

1099 Contractor-60/40 commission

Calming Wind Counseling Services, LLC is an outpatient counseling practice that has been providing therapy in person and through telehealth in the Richmond, Virginia area since 2020.  Calming Wind Counseling Services, LLC provides services to clients who are children (age 5 and up) , adolescents, and adults through individual, couples, family, and group therapy. We work with clinicians to make sure that clients are matched based on clinician's training and experience. Clinicians have the ability to manage their schedule based on the clinician's preferences and goals for their caseload. As a mental health service provider Calming Wind Counseling Services, LLC works to help clients gain access to mental health services through connections to programs and unique offerings to assist in reducing the impact financial hardships have on receiving appropriate mental health care.
