We are looking for an entry level Financial Analyst to join our team in our Woodstock, Georgia office. This role will eventually become a Hybrid role allowing for limited remote work. Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst is an entry-level position on the land finance team for one of the fastest growing public homebuilders in the Southeast.
The job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work side-by-side with Land Finance Manager to learn, understand, and progressively assume greater responsibility within the land finance team.
- Generate, ensure accuracy, and distribute land finance reporting and analysis utilized by senior management and key external finance partners.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and assist in the internal and external underwriting of project finance structures.
- Run pro forma financial models for prospective SDH projects.
- Assist Land Finance Manager in communicating with SDH divisions, finance partners, and outside counsel to ensure optimal land finance workflow.
- Aggregate and review required documentation related to project-specific financing relationships.
Required Skills, Education, and Traits
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Technical Skills:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to apply proficient analytical skills
Professional Traits:
- Attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn
- Ability to function well in a team oriented environment
- Time management and prioritization skills
