As a Cook at Willamette View, you will manage the day-to-day operational aspects of food production, working as a vital member of a dynamic production team. In this role, you will collaborate with a team to execute daily food production according to departmental quality standards and build relationships with team members, supporting functional groups through effective feedback and communication. Additionally, you will attend meetings and follow all departmental and established safety rules. Adhering to current federal, state, and local standards, as well as HACCP, sanitation, and food handling protocols, and other applicable guidelines and regulations throughout all areas of your role, is essential. You will also perform other duties as assigned by the Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and the Food & Beverage Director.

What are the job qualifications?

  • Prefer one-year experience in all phases of food production for a high-volume kitchen operation.
  • An associate degree in Culinary Arts or a combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must have a Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must consent to and pass a criminal background check
