Inspection Team Leader 

State Systems, Inc. of Arkansas is actively seeking to hire a full-time Inspection Team Leader to oversee the testing and inspecting of commercial fire alarms, access control systems, electronic security systems, other low voltage systems, and address customer needs.           
 

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent in multi-tasking skills and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Software proficiency: Microsoft Windows; Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75lbs

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the inspection technicians (currently 12 but still expanding)
  • Schedule inspections for all the inspection crews
  • Review all reports completed by the inspection crews
  • Manage Building Reports site
  • Assist customers with their reports
  • Assist internal sales personnel with reports
  • Take lead on Suppression systems recharges
  • Fire Sprinkler systems experience preferred 
  • Fire Alarm systems experience preferred

Starting Salary: $60,000 to $70,000

Additional Requirements: 

  • Seek to embody our mission of protecting life and property
  • Advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • May be exposed to temperature changes, small spaces, and confined spaces
  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Fire Alarm experience preferred 
  • Fire Sprinkler experience preferred     

License/Certifications:

  • Driver's License
  • Low Voltage License (Preferred)
