The Paralegal II role in New York office involves applying knowledge of the litigation lifecycle to support attorneys. Responsibilities include:
- Efficiently managing tasks to facilitate fee collection
- Meeting billable hours targets
- Assisting in the preparation and interpretation of legal documents
- Organizing and maintaining case files, preparing court filings
- Conducting electronic document reviews and assisting with eDiscovery tasks
- Supporting deposition preparation and trial logistics
- Coordinating with internal and external resources
Required proficiencies include MS Office applications, transcript management, cite-checking, legal research tools (LexisNexis/Westlaw), and familiarity with court procedures and billing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate
- minimum 2 years of Paralegal experience, and litigation exposure.
