Shepard is seeking a Logistics Sales Coordinator who will serve as the primary point of contact between clients, shipping facilities, and operational teams within the logistics department. This position is responsible for creating new relations to obtain new business, managing client accounts, and ensuring we provide exceptional service to our clients.

Essential Job Duties

  • Market and manage logistics services for existing show management clients and special accounts outside Shepard tradeshows
  • Prepare and deliver rate quotes to customers while ensuring margins are met within established parameters
  • Coordinate with carriers to obtain competitive quotes and book shipments accordingly
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and revenue targets
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with new and existing clients to foster ongoing business partnerships
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics services
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the exhibitor service and logistic teams to achieve sales targets
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner by making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company
  • Strong written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience may be exchanged for formal education
