Position Overview:


As Master Data Management lead you will help establish the Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM) processes, enabling Data Governance & Stewardship, Data Quality, and eliminating manual customizations in individual systems by providing standard integrations of master data.


An individual in this role is responsible for data profiling and mining to provide the business and project teams insights and recommendations to drive master data related decisions; including but not limited to continuous improvement through analytics, process design and improvement, report development and maintenance and research.


What You'll Be Doing:

Analyze varying stakeholder concerns, proactively working with diverse groups to address concerns and build consensus.

Support and help to establish standardized processes and procedures to manage reference data and master data.

Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of MDM and RDM solutions that best meet our technical and business requirements.

Work with the Application Development teams to implement data strategies, build data flows.


Responsibilities:

Timely execution of changes to master data (e.g. parts, BOM, etc.) as approved by the business,

Coordinate material and finish products master data setup, validations and periodic maintenance

Perform mass updates,

Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions,

Work with business units and process experts to resolve master data issues,

Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of master data across business systems,

Support the business with required procedures, submit incidents and change requests when needed,

Assist business process experts in defining standard operating procedures, process flows and related documentation.


Basic Qualifications:

At least 3 years of intensive hands-on experience in MDM design, development, support and operations using MDM suite of tools.

Experience establishing standardized processes and procedures to manage master data.

Strong understanding of Data modeling, profiling and mining.

Experience in managing MDM stakeholder identification, requirements, quality thresholds.

2+ years experience in master data management preferably in global projects/companies,

Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, especially strong with use of excel, writing and revising advance functions, macros, and other automation.

Able to understand and investigate topics related to multiple business areas,

Analytically minded and methodical problem solver,

Able to efficiently prioritize work and timely inform stakeholders on the progress,


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the cannabis domain.

Knowledge about Epicor ERP, Metrc, and Wherefour.

Experience working with various teams and departments to collaborate on topics related to MDM.
