Title: Flexo/Digital Operator II
Reports To: Shift Advisor
Starting Pay: $22+
Day Shift/Monday - Thursday, 5AM - 3:30PM (10hrs, 4 days)

Summary: This associate has experience with most complex machines in this Value Stream. The position requires the Associate to set up, run, do limited troubleshooting and interpret and follow work instructions. They will have a complete understanding of the operation and safety requirements for all Flexographic and or Digital presses along with other equipment in this Value Stream. This position is expected to have full knowledge of product quality, processes and procedures. Associate must be able to meet production schedules and strive to achieve or improve cost estimates.
Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to:
- Set up and run product based on established job rates. Post rates achieved hourly on run boards.
- Communicate rate deficiencies to management and engineering per prescribed procedures.
- Perform quality inspections per Quality Department procedures and Engineering work instructions and document results.
- Responsible for accurate documentation of inspection, equipment maintenance, the Training Matrix and work instruction improvements.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per Engineering procedures and ensure charts or logs are up to date.
- Positively contribute to company's safety, quality and production goals.
- Responsible for reporting to Management any unsafe working conditions.
Accountabilities:
- To run product within 10% of established job rates.
- To complete required training when due.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate job time is recorded to the correct activity code.
- Accountable for accurate documentation of inspection per Quality Department procedures.
- To perform limited preventative maintenance as established by Engineering.
Training/Education/Experience:
- High School education or equivalent.
- Some post High School education preferred in related field.
- Previous manufacturing experience required; medical manufacturing experience a plus.
- Able to interpret and understand prints.
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing concepts a plus.
- 3-7 years of Rotary Press experience.
- Proficient PC skills, Microsoft.

Evidence of Success:
- Maintain production rates resulting at or below established job values.
- Ensure all training is up to date and reflected on the individual training matrix.
- Perform quality inspections in accordance with the Quality department procedures and Engineering resulting in no improper findings from quality audits or Customer Corrective Actions (CCARS). Ensure the accuracy of all required documentation with evidence of success based on Quality Department audits and no contributing ISO findings.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
