  • Communication: Effective communication is essential for conveying ideas, strategies, and findings clearly and concisely to potential and current clients, teams, and stakeholders. The successful candidate is responsible for keeping both internal and external parties informed about progress and expected outcomes. Responsiveness is critical to team and client success.
  • Leadership: Leadership skills are necessary for guiding and motivating team members, managing conflicts, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Client Relationship Management: Exhibiting professionalism, confidence, and poise in various settings helps build trust in the client relationship. Communication, planning, and ensuring quality services are key aspects.
  • Financial Statement Audit Preparation and Facilitation: Ability to prepare for and ensure that a client has a smooth audit process. This may include preparation of support schedules.
  • Strategic Thinking: Managers go beyond daily accounting and need to think strategically, providing insights that align with client objectives and long-term goals.
  • Change Management: Controllers guide clients through operational, technological or strategic changes by developing and implementing a clear plan that incorporates and considers all stakeholders.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients, cutting edge technology, processes, deadlines and changing needs. You can adapt quickly to new situations, prioritize, and communicate proactively.
  • Demonstrating the impact of recommendations and solutions becomes more common as a Controller. Measuring outcomes and linking them to client success will be an important part of long-term engagements.
  • Guiding clients through significant organizational changes can be challenging, as it involves addressing resistance, communication hurdles, and managing through implementation issues.
  • Leading more complex engagements . Addressing the challenge of managing these engagements effectively while balancing the needs and schedules of the team with expectations and timeframes of the client.
  • Controllers have both client-facing and internal responsibilities; you will mentor team members and help them grow in their capabilities as well as contribute to firm initiatives and business development. Success with clients and your teams as well as initiative within SA will be key to career progression.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE:

  • 8+ years of accounting experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
  • Client service experience, preferred
  • Mix of public and private accounting experience preferred
  • CPA, CMA or MBA designation, preferred
  • Advanced user of excel

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is up to $130,000 to $165,000 annually with bonus potential depending on experience. To provide a competitive compensation package, Signature Analytics takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to: market compensation data, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications. A sign-on bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to benefits (employer contribution towards medical, dental, and vision premiums; 401(k) match; professional development reimbursements; cell phone and home office stipend, etc.) depending on the position offered.
