Requirements

Building Automation Team Lead: This is where you come in.

We’re looking for a Team Lead to manage and develop a team of Controls Specialists. This team is tasked with the successful execution of building controls installation and implementation for MacMiller; the Team Lead is expected to understand and assist with the configuration, programming, startup, testing, and troubleshooting of controls systems and networks in HVAC systems. This also involves the forecasting and planning of resources, providing work direction to assigned specialists, ensuring work performed is compliant with state, local and federal requirements, and current construction techniques, and operates on the job with the highest of ethics. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • People: Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports – Prepare and deliver clear performance expectations, performance reviews, and development plans for direct reports.
  • Process: Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement – Supports the Operating Guidelines Committee’s efforts to maintain and update Department Standards and enforces them to ensure consistency in execution.
  • Partnership: Support business integration and client engagement as the technical subject matter expert.

The Building Automation Team Lead role reports John Hopper – Building Controls Supervisor on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

  • Tridium AX/N4 certification, Honeywell, Siemens or equivalent building automation experience.
  • Bachelor of Science or Technical Degree or Equivalent Work Experience in Computer Science and Electrical/Mechanical Building Systems.
