American Overhead Door, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is one of the world's most recognized leaders in garage door solutions and we are currently seeking a motivated Residential Sales Representative to sell our well-known, high-quality products in Huntsville, Alabama and surrounding areas. If you are looking to be well compensated for your sales accomplishments this is the position for you

Job responsibilities:

  • Analyze and diagnose each customer's Garage door problems
  • Design customized door solutions
  • Make in home sales presentations that include product samples and design software
  • Work with residential homebuilders to sell our door solutions
  • Build solid, long-lasting relationships with customers in your assigned territory
  • In addition to prospecting with remodel contractors and HOA’s, you will be provided with a steady flow of prequalified company leads and marketing support to help build your territory.
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
  • Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Prefer a minimum of two (2) years outside sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to interact professionally with contacts, internal and external, at all levels and possess a high sense of urgency with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems preferred
