The Role:

The full stack Software Applications Developer will be responsible for developing new and existing applications and supporting our innovative software. Working in a small team in a fast pace agile environment, the daily task includes rapid prototyping, product design and coding, getting feedback from interested parties, and participating in daily scrum meeting. This role is remote and can sit anywhere within North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with members in R&D, Product Marketing and Technical Support to understand requirements.
  • Prototyping new ideas and concepts.
  • Developing software specifications, design and implementation for new and existing software applications and platform according to iCAD’s SOP.
  • Software testing including manual testing as well as developing automated test scripts.
  • Review requirements, design, and other documentation, and assist in planning testing activities.
  • Assist in trouble shooting issues both during development and production at clinical product sites.
  • Document, investigate and fix software defects.

Requirements:

  • Strong general computer science knowledge, including operating systems, databases, software systems, and networking.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in managing software development projects in the Agile methodology.
  • Experience with Python, Flask, Java Script, C#, ASP.Net.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux OS.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies will be an asset.
  • The applicant must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and willing to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the customer and team members.
  • Team player, collaborator, problem solver, and has a “get it done” approach.
