Job Summary:
Eide Ford Lincoln is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team in Bismarck, North Dakota. This is a full-time hourly position in the Auto industry, with a compensation range of $35 to $45 per flat rate hour sold paid semi-monthly. As a skilled individual contributor, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of repairs and maintenance on diesel vehicles, both independently and as part of a team. Compensation and Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify issues
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed accurately
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with the service advisor and parts department to ensure timely and accurate repairs
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in technology
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
- Assist and mentor apprentices and less-experienced technicians as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working as a diesel technician
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other components
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills
- Must have own tools
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
