What You’ll Be Doing:
  • System Integration Management: Manage the integration of the outsourced Jack Henry core system with internal bank systems, ensuring efficient data flow and functionality across platforms.
  • Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between our bank and Jack Henry & Associates, ensuring they uphold their responsibilities in maintaining and updating the core system. Monitor performance metrics and service level agreements to ensure vendor compliance.
  • Change Management: Collaborate with Jack Henry & Associates to discuss and request system changes and enhancements as needed by the bank. Ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and align with our bank’s strategic objectives.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Oversee the extraction and utilization of data from the Jack Henry system for reporting and decision-making purposes. Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • System Compliance and Security: Monitor the core system operations for compliance with banking regulations and security protocols. Work closely with the bank’s compliance and risk management teams to mitigate any potential risks associated with system integration.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support related to the Jack Henry system integration. Develop and deliver training programs for bank staff to enhance their understanding and use of the integrated system.
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects focused on improving system integration and enhancing functionalities. Manage timelines, allocate resources, and deliver projects within deadlines and budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including IT, operations, and executive teams, ensuring that everyone is informed about integration processes and system performance.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive Experience with Jack Henry Banking Systems: Candidates should have at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Jack Henry platforms such as SilverLake, CIF 20/20, or Core Director. This includes in-depth knowledge of system architecture, functionality, and backend operations specific to these systems.
  • Expertise in Core System Modules: Deep understanding of the specific modules within the Jack Henry system related to deposits, lending, customer information files (CIF), and other banking services. Familiarity with configuration, customization, and troubleshooting of these modules is essential.
  • System Integration and Upgrades: Proven ability in integrating the Jack Henry system with other banking applications and third-party services. Experience managing system upgrades and migrations, including testing and deployment, while ensuring continuity of banking operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Knowledge of banking regulations that impact core system operations, such as FDIC rules, and the ability to ensure the system complies with all applicable laws and standards. Experience with generating and managing reports that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Security and Risk Management: Skills in implementing and managing security protocols within the Jack Henry system to protect sensitive financial data and prevent breaches. Understanding of risk assessment procedures related to core banking systems.
  • Problem Solving and Technical Support: Strong analytical skills and the ability to swiftly diagnose and resolve issues within the Jack Henry system. Experience providing end-user support and training, ensuring users can effectively utilize the system.
  • Project Management: Ability to lead projects related to the enhancement and maintenance of the Jack Henry banking system. Experience in overseeing project timelines, resource allocation, and delivering projects within set deadlines.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical details and system requirements to non-technical stakeholders. Experience working collaboratively with IT teams and other departments to enhance system efficiency and performance.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field is required. Advanced certifications related to Jack Henry products or financial systems technology are highly desirable, such as Jack Henry technical certifications or project management certifications (e.g., PMP).
