A Day in the Elmington Life: As the Leasing Consultant, you are responsible for supervising the leasing process, communicating with prospective and current tenants, and managing the community's reputation.

To be successful, you will need to

  • Effectively manage the community's reputation via social media, direct communication, and marketing.
  • Be the primary communicator to prospects, residents, vendors, and your market.
  • Constantly learn and search for ways to improve traffic, leasing, and total income.
  • Think creatively and go way beyond the box by conceptualizing new ideas to improve the business.
  • Work with passion and take pride in what you do.
  • Be an effective listener who offers helpful solutions.
  • Possess great energy, enjoy challenges, and constantly set and reach new goals.
  • Execute successfully Elmington's non-negotiables for property performance.

The Essentials

  • Minimum 2 years of multi-family property management experience required.
  • Ensure compliance with all Affordable Programs regulations and/or other federal, state, and local requirements applicable to the property.
  • Professional verbal and written communication.
  • Administrative and organizational tasks.
  • Presenting a professional image.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, internet websites for business marketing, and company-utilized software.
  • Preparing, locating, and compiling information and documents.
  • Responding to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Thrive in a team environment.
  • Willing to develop and learn.
