Job DescriptionJob DescriptionServiceNow Developer Job Responsibilities:Typical projects that this position will be supporting will range from simple to highly complex for a large (5000+ employee) enterprise environment. It is not uncommon for multiple sites and customers to be supported simultaneously by a single analyst or administrator, so the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and be goal and deadline oriented is required. Projects could include anything in the ServiceNow environment which spans all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through production implementation.
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Incident, Change and Service Catalog Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of scoped application development.
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7 years’ experience with application development
  • 5 years’ experience with ServiceNow development
  • Experience with UI Builder
  • Experience with Workspaces
  • Experience with App Engine Studio
  • Solid understanding and experience using JavaScript.
  • Experience working with external REST services.
  • Expertise in all phases of ServiceNow development including requirements gathering and analysis, system design, prototype development, site design, configuration control, testing, software quality assurance, and maintenance. This includes scoped applications and service portal.
  • Experience working on Scrum/Agile projects helpful
  • A passion to learn new technologies and skills.
  • Strong and personable communication skills to work with customers to identify and formulate solution scope and objectives.
  • Strong writing/documentation skills to design, code, test, debug, and document the automated services.
  • Independently performs ongoing maintenance, research, problem resolution, and support tasks.
  • The successful candidate must be a highly motivated, self-starter who is comfortable working as part of a team (in any capacity) or as an independent contributor. The candidate must demonstrate a strong customer focus and excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to share and communicate coding excellence and quality into the team and culture.
