Nexus cooperative has an opening for an energy administration lead. This role will be responsible for the administrative and internal customer service functions of the energy division. The position will be based primarily out of the Charles City office and work closely with the accounting, administrative, energy sales, and energy operations teams, as well as interact with all other Nexus divisions. We are looking for someone that is highly motivated, enjoys working closely with customers and internal teams, and carries a positive attitude that represents the core values of Nexus.


Leadership:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and/or develop all internal processes related to the purchase, inventory, and sale of energy products.
  2. Completing and/or supporting a wide variety of energy administrative processes in support of our sales, service, and delivery efforts.
  3. Conduct administrative functions in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
  4. Be responsible for a high level of customer service with all customer and supplier interactions.
  5. Support and help train cross-divisional personnel to support customer requests.
  6. Work closely with and support other team members within the energy division.
  7. Support other divisions with their administrative efforts as needed.
  8. Implement technology to reduce data entry, improve operations efficiencies, and enhance the level of customer service.
  9. Support the efforts of service, delivery, and other components of energy to achieve high customer satisfaction and company profitability.
  10. Work closely with accounting staff to provide information in an accurate, timely and usable form.
  11. Oversee sales programs, vendor rebate/reimbursement programs and applications.
  12. Initiate customer marketing and safety communications.
  13. Work with cross-functional teams for system opportunities and improvements.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Strong computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Associate degree required or related experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship driven customer service skills.
  • Ability to generate ideas and improve current process to an industry leading standard.
