Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary Langham Logistics is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented DC Analyst to support our partnership

with Toyota at our Headquarters. This role involves analyzing data, optimizing distribution center

operations, and ensuring efficient and accurate processing to meet client requirements. The DC Analyst

will collaborate closely with various departments to identify areas for improvement, implement

solutions, and drive overall performance.

Represent Langham Logistics:

 Provide courteous, professional service to both internal and external customers.

 Present a positive image of Langham.

Evaluation of performance

Performance will be evaluated based on meeting the requirements of the job description; meeting

performance metrics and other quality indicators established for this position; working according to

specifications, policies, and standards established by Langham; working effectively in a team

environment; and providing a high level of internal and external customer service.

Performance metrics

Performance metrics for this position will be established annually based on:

Department quality (error rates/crate damage), productivity (orders, lines, and pieces),

absenteeism/turnover and usage of the LMS/ERP system

Key Outcomes Expected

 Analyze distribution center operations and provide insights to improve efficiency and accuracy.

 Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, inventory

levels, and order fulfillment.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, supply chain, and IT, to develop and

implement process improvements.

 Prepare and present detailed reports on operational performance, highlighting trends, potential

issues, and recommendations for corrective actions.

 Support Toyota’s specific requirements, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations and

performance expectations.

 Assist in the design and implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other

relevant technologies.

 Conduct root cause analysis of operational issues and develop action plans to mitigate risks.

 Participate in regular meetings with Toyota and internal teams to discuss performance, challenges,

and opportunities for improvement.

 Maintain accurate records and documentation related to distribution center activities.

Critical skills, knowledge, and behaviors

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with warehouse

management systems (WMS).

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with

clients and internal teams.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Licenses

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in a distribution center or logistics role, preferably within a large-scale

operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting automotive industry clients.

• Familiarity with Toyota’s logistics and distribution processes.

• Lean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement experience.

Physical Demands

• Physical movements including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 75 pounds as part of daily work

routine. Will be working on concrete in a warehouse environment (subject to heat and cold).

• Must be able to operate computer equipment.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse environment subject to temperature variances. This warehouse

based role will occasionally visit other distribution centers as needed. Standard working hours with

some flexibility required based on project demands
