Manager - Salesforce

Summary: The Manager - Salesforce will be responsible for managing the Salesforce platform and associated applications. This position will oversee operational work and the implementation of Salesforce projects. This position will also ensure the successful release process through environments. The Manager will lead a team of Salesforce administrators and developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet and exceed the needs of our business and customers. This role will involve both project management and hands-on Salesforce administration.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading, planning and executing Salesforce projects on time, within scope and within budget.
- Perform Salesforce administrative tasks, including user management, security settings, custom object creation, and workflow automation.
- Supervise and mentor a team of Salesforce administrators and developers, providing guidance and support.
- Work closely with users and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Work closely with the technical team to design Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements.
- Manage vendors and agreements associated with Salesforce and integrations.
- Manage operational support work in accordance with SLAs.
- Research and recommend products and services in support of the optimization of the business process and platform.
- Ensure the quality of Salesforce implementations by conducting thorough testing and validation.
- Manage release process, environment refreshes, integrations, and platform upgrades.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5 Plus years of Management Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Admin certification required. Advanced Admin certification preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce in Healthcare is required.
- Strong experience with Salesforce configuration and custom development.
- Salesforce Developer Certification is a plus.
- Experience using Agile delivery methodology.
- Salesforce HealthCloud experience is a plus.
- Must be a hands-on collaborative leader with technical skills to assist and guide team members in the completion of assigned duties.
- Excellent priority, time, and resource management skills; ability to effectively implement multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
Working Conditions:
- Flexibility to work in an office and/or at-home, remote office environment.
- Schedule flexibility is occasionally necessary in this position. Individual may be required to attend key business/departmental meetings and/or perform certain business critical job functions outside of normal working hours.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to communicate internally and externally through receiving and responding to auditory and visual methods.
