Cornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group is a growing, privately owned dermatology practice located in Lee's Summit, MO. We provide compassionate, expert medical and surgical dermatology care in a comfortable office setting. We offer an excellent total compensation package - including a competitive salary and a full benefits package.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and service
  • Assist provider in surgical procedures
  • Managing a high volume of patient visits
  • Obtain patient medical history
  • Provide patient instructions / education
  • Follow-up with patients regarding labs, biopsy reports, and post-operatively
  • Answer and return patient phone calls
  • Schedule procedures and appointments
  • Clean and sterilize medical instruments
  • Set up, restock, and sanitize procedure rooms
  • Ensures safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Assist provider in surgical procedures
  • Arranges operating equipment, instruments, and supplies according to surgeon's preferences
  • Anticipates surgeon's needs
  • Handle specimens according to policy and procedure
  • Washes and assembles surgical instrumentation for sterilization
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Surgical Technologist Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills

  • Monday through Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
