Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding patient care and support
  • Assist medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Manage a significant volume of patient appointments
  • Gather and document patient medical histories
  • Educate patients with clear instructions
  • Follow up with patients regarding laboratory results, biopsy findings, and post-operative care
  • Respond to patient inquiries and return calls
  • Coordinate scheduling of procedures and appointments
  • Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments
  • Prepare, restock, and maintain procedure rooms
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment for surgical operations
  • Assist in arranging surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies based on the surgeon's preferences
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team
  • Handle specimens in accordance with established protocols
  • Clean and assemble surgical instruments for sterilization
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
