Data Engineer

  • What You’ll Be Doing
    • Own end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of complex data pipelines
    • Setup and maintain orchestrator tool (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, …)
    • Develop data-driven solutions to critical business problems by leveraging our data warehouse, analytics tools, and scripting languages.
    • Form strong relationships with stakeholders and your team to understand top data needs, develop requirements, and deliver solutions.
    • Work with your teammates to continuously iterate and improve upon our processes, best practices, and technical implementations.
    • Ensure compliance and confidentiality of Personal Health Information across multiple environments.
  • Education 
    • Bachelor Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or other quantitative field and relevant work experience as a Data Engineer 
  • What We’re Looking For
    • Proven ability to build, improve, and maintain data pipelines 
    • Minimum of 3 years experience with SQL, Python, Airflow (or similar orchestrator), git, and other BI/CLI tools
    • Experience with dbt, CI/CD and automated unit testing preferred.  Bonus: experience with Ruby.
    • A proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision making skills
    • An excitement about learning about healthcare and business from a unique vantage point
