Join Our Culinary Team as an Executive Sous Chef at Zilli Hospitality Group

Are you passionate about culinary arts and eager to showcase your skills in a dynamic and creative environment? Zilli Hospitality Group is seeking a talented and versatile Executive Sous Chef to join our esteemed culinary team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work under the guidance of our Executive Chef, contributing to the planning and execution of exquisite menus and overseeing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee kitchen staff and manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
  • Collaborate in designing innovative food menus and producing high-quality plates.
  • Play a pivotal role in training and mentoring kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
  • Supervise production crews, manage inventory, and maintain supplies.
  • Engage in menu planning, place orders for food supplies, and ensure proper storage and usage of ingredients.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
  • Contribute to off-premise catering events, including performance cooking and buffet serving.

Requirements:

  • Proven dependability and exceptional cooking skills.
  • Familiarity with catering services industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Required licenses or certifications for food production and management.
  • Valid driver's license and access to insured transportation.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and carrying items up to 60 pounds with assistance.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary range of $55,000 to $62,000.
  • A $1,000 bonus to be paid out on December 1st.
